OPTICAL FIBER
iXFiber uses the well-known MCVD technique to produce a wide variety of specialty optical fibers.
Our engineers and technicians have a cumulated experience of over 50 years in the trade.
Our technology allows us to address polarization maintaining fibre, rare earth doped fibre, double clad fibre, high numerical aperture fibre, photosensitive fibre, pigtailing fibre and more...
Some of these fibres are available in reduced cladding as low as 40 µm with various coatings including high temperature resistant coatings.
Give us your specification sheet and we will tell you what iXFiber technology can do for you.
iXFiber will address all your projects, from a one shot 50 meter custom fibre to a planned large quantity production of reduced cladding fibre.
UV FBG
The process is based on the exposition of an hydrogen loaded fiber to an interference pattern of ultraviolet light. iXFiber generates this pattern either by phase mask or Lloyd's mirror interferometer based setup. Advantages of the phase-mask technology are the high reliability and producibility of the writing process. iXFiber has developed a sophisticated full control scanning scheme to produce complex grating profiles. In any case where particular Bragg wavelength is required, Lloyd interferometer can be employed advantageously due to its wavelength flexibility.
iXFiber has acquired a wide expertise to produce highly customized filters with a high quality. By combining our internal specialty optical fiber technology with our advanced writing solutions, iXFiber is able to reply to the most demanding applications.
